Miss Flora' Belties
This
high-quality Giclee print (left) of a painting by Graham Bradshaw has been
produced to honour the work of an extraordinary woman whose life was
devoted to the Galloway Cattle breeds and in particular the Belted
Galloways, known throughout the world. Miss Flora, a she was always known,
died in February of 2006, and to commemorate her, the Waterloo Art Gallery has
published the print. The Giclee, measuring 21-1/2" x 14", has a border
around it which gives its title; "Miss Flora's Belties" a painting by
Graham Bradshaw, Mochrum, January 2005. It is available from the Waterloo
Art Gallery and costs £50.00 + £8.00 post and packaging, if required. As Miss Flora's life
was ended as a result of cancer, the entire profits of this venture are
going to the MacMillan's Nurses Fund - an organisation that nurses cancer
patients in the community. To obtain a copy please send a cheque, postal
order or international money order made payable to the Waterloo Art
Gallery Number 2 Account. This is an account specifically for the
marketing of the print.
